Since 2021, Jetsons RC Jet Engine Services has worked with clients on an array of innovating engineering projects. These activities include supplying RC jet engine test rigs and helping our customers troubleshoot their RC jet engine rigs. Project Evolution
Airplanes contribute 3% of carbon dioxide emissions in the world. It is through services like ours that Jetsons RC Jet Engine Services hopes to change that. This is because our test rigs are used to analyze which fuel is most efficient and least harmful towards the environment. There were several obstacles to overcome during our project. One of the main problems was that our engine did come with a manual. Furthermore, our battery came dead. We had to order another battery. We ended up finding a manual online that showed us how to assemble the engine. Another impediment we had during the project was that we needed an additional battery to turn on the receiver and the ECU. As far as the building process, we had to connect a lithium battery to the ECU (Engine Control Unit). Then we had to connect a data cable running from the GSU (Ground Support Unit) to the ECU. Another cable connects the receiver to the ECU. Furthermore, we connected the turbine to the ECU. The fuel pump is also connected to the ECU. The thrust meter is connected to the engine. A trial test for our turbine showed us that there was a peak thrust of 70 N at 120000 RPM with temperature being around 482 Celsius.
